Internacionalización Doctorado

La visita de Andreas Hilger, en el contexto del proyecto Campus Leibniz, refuerza la colaboración entre la Universidad Alberto Hurtado y la Universidad de Regensburg, e integra a Chile en un estudio internacional sobre valores laborales de nuevas generaciones.

Hace unos días, la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado recibió al investigador alemán Andreas Hilger, quien visita nuestra casa de estudios como parte de la participación institucional en el proyecto Campus Leibniz de la Universidad de Regensburg. 

Durante su estadía, Hilger fue recibido por la vicerrectora de Investigación e Innovación, Lucía Stecher, y ha desarrollado trabajo académico en colaboración con Alan Valenzuela, académico de la Facultad de Psicología. Esta visita es una muestra del fortalecimiento de los vínculos de investigación internacional y promoción del intercambio académico que está impulsando la Universidad Alberto Hurtado con otros planteles.

El investigador realizó una presentación de su proyecto centrado en el estudio de los valores laborales de la Generación Z —personas nacidas aproximadamente entre 1997 y 2012— y su relación con los valores corporativos de empresas multinacionales. La investigación trata de comprender cómo estas nuevas generaciones se integran al mundo del trabajo y qué tensiones o coincidencias existen en un escenario marcado por la globalización.

El estudio contempla una primera fase desarrollada en Europa, con Alemania como país empleador y una muestra que incluye a Finlandia, Estonia, Eslovenia, República Checa, Rumania, Polonia, Reino Unido, España, Croacia, Bosnia y Herzegovina, Serbia, Dinamarca y Turquía. En una segunda etapa, el proyecto se expandirá hacia América, incorporando a países como Colombia y proyectando la participación de Chile, Brasil, México y Estados Unidos.

Sobre la relevancia de ampliar el estudio a otras regiones, Hilger destacó que “los valores laborales son culturales y cambian en cada país, por lo que es necesario compararlos para avanzar en su comprensión en un contexto global”.

Asimismo, valoró la posibilidad de desarrollar esta investigación en la UAH, subrayando el carácter colaborativo del trabajo académico: “Es el lugar perfecto para comenzar en América Latina. La Universidad ha sido muy abierta a colaborar, y el trabajo con la Facultad de Psicología ha sido especialmente valioso por su fortaleza metodológica”.

El investigador también se refirió a su experiencia en Chile, destacando la apertura y disposición de la comunidad académica, así como la diversidad del país, elementos que —señaló— enriquecen el desarrollo de investigaciones con proyección internacional.

Subjectivities in transit: art, voices and movement.

The experience of being a subject has been at the center of psychological and social thought since a while. It is a problematic experience insofar as we live moving through alterity and difference, through acting objects and subjects, and through somewhat contradictory normative demands. We have though the experience of being one subject and of one body. How do we get that experience? What are the affective effects of having that experience? What are the political conditions  of that experience?

In this version of the summer school, we invite to think about subjectivities in transit theorizing the specific ways through which embodied cultural life produces individuals.

The summer school is organized by the Doctoral Program in Psychology, Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Chile, and is sponsored by the International Society for Theoretical Psychology (ISTP), with the aim of contributing to advancing in the understanding and analysis of the effort of individuation, and the subjective experience involved in it, in its intersectional and processual dynamics.

The summer school is directed at doctoral students and researchers interested in understanding individuation and identity as a socially grounded, dialogically constituted, politically engaged, and subjectively experienced process of affective becoming. We invite doctoral students and researchers to join a collaborative, formative space of rigorous and critical thinking.

The theoretical live of concepts: Language and Body.

The notions of language and body have been central to the field of subjectivation. In psychology, these concepts have been articulated and thought in opposition or constant tension. This opens up questions such as: Why these concepts are so difficult to think about? What are the implications of the way in which we articulate them? What are the political, epistemological, and social effects of thinking language and body from different perspectives? What questions and hypotheses can be afforded from different notions of language and body?

In this version of the summer school, we invite to think about language and the body as processes of becoming, that is, practices, movements or affections.
